AZTEC — Free grant writing help will be offered today in Aztec.

K. Michelle Quisenberry, a senior program officer at the New Mexico Humanities Council, will answer questions on the grant application process at a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon at the Aztec Museum, 125 N. Main Ave.

The workshop will provide an introduction to the New Mexico Humanities Council grant program with a focus on what an application includes and how materials are organized.

The New Mexico Humanities Council encourages various regional projects for submission, including book and film discussions, local theater projects, literary symposia, community dialogue and oral history projects.

The council makes it a priority to fund humanities-based projects that further civic dialogue and reflection and celebrate New Mexican heritage and experience.
