FARMINGTON — The San Juan County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 16-year-old for stabbing a man multiple times Tuesday morning.

The stabbing took place at the Angel Peak RV Park on Tuesday morning.

Steven Guiterez was stabbed nine times at 7:30 a.m. and the suspect fled the scene, Beth Utley, a sheriff's office spokeswoman, said.

The victim survived but additional information about the person's condition was not available.

Utley said detectives have arrested a male, 16-year-old. The investigation is ongoing and additional informtation has not yet been released.

The park is at 6181 U.S. 64 in Bloomfield.
