Sen. Jeff Bingaman will likely be making his final visit to Farmington on Thursday as a sitting United State Senator.

Bingaman (D-New Mexico) will visit PESCO to learn about the family-owned natural gas company and San Juan College Dental Hygiene Program.

Bingaman is going to PESCO at 9:30 a.m. and the college at 1:15 p.m.

Bingaman has represented New Mexico for 30 years.

He has served five terms in the U.S. Senate and will leave his position at the end of the year.

Republican Heather Wilson and Democrat Martin Heinrich are running to replace Bingaman.
