Bloomfield swept a doubleheader with East Mountain on Friday, winning the first game 4-3 and and the second 6-5.

Anthony Martinez went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in the win for the Bobcats.

Kyle Thompson hit a home run and picked up a save on the mound in relief of starting pitcher Luke Dugan, who earned the win.

In Game 2, Thompson and Brandon Detrick each went 2-for-3 from the plate for Bloomfield.

Tyler Barker struck out five in the win and Elisha Journey recorded the save in relief.

“We played really, really well in both games,” said Bloomfield head coach Frank DeHoyos.

Bloomfield is in action again at Farmington on Monday.
