The Aztec girls' golf team picked up its third qualifying leg to secure a spot in the state tournament on Tuesday at Conquistador Golf Course in Cortez, Colo.

The Lady Tigers shot a team score of 373 and were led by Brooke Raney's 77. Raney took second overall in the tournament.

Kirtland Central's Darmika Frank put up and 89 while teammate Aubri Blueeyes shot 92 to lead the Lady Broncos to a team score of 373.

Piedra Vista's Miel Johnson shot 84 and Shiprock's Terra King shot 92, earning individual legs. Both girls have already qualified for the state tournament.

On the boys' side, Kirtland Central's Tristin Goodwin shot 77 and Derek Frank shot 78.

Piedra Vista's Jackson Gurley finished at 75 and Donald Thorton shot 78.
