FARMINGTON — Events throughout the Four Corners will offer ample opportunities to pay tribute on Veterans Day.

Field of flags

Good Samaritan Society -- Four Corners Village, 500 Care Lane in Aztec, erected a field of flags on Friday at the entrance of the senior living facility. The flags will fly until Saturday, Nov. 16.

"Most people do this during Memorial Day, but I figured we would do ours during Veterans Day. We just set it up just for our veterans to honor them," said Katie Roper, marketing director at Good Samaritan. "About four veterans live in our senior living apartments here, and 10 veterans live in our long-term facility. We have lots of veterans here, in our community and the country."
