SILVER CITY — Western New Mexico University's Homecoming week wraps up this weekend with Alumni Weekend, a Homecoming Parade and the big game, in which the WNMU Mustangs face off against the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Altamirano Field on campus. The Homecoming parade will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Juan Chacon parking lot and march down College Avenue to Bullard Street and up Bullard to Broadway, ending at the courthouse to get the town fired up for the homecoming game. Tailgating begins at 11 a.m. in the Juan Chacon parking lot, until the game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. A Homecoming party will be held from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Student Memorial Center on the third floor. Three days of events for alumni begin today. Registration to attend alumni events is $60.

¥Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
