SILVER CITY — Theatre Group New Mexico and the Expressive Arts Department of WNMU are presenting "Just Be Christmas Inside." a holiday play for the whole family.

Performances will be at the Fine Arts Center Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, but there will be an opportunity to make a cash donation to the Community Food Pantry at each performance. Expect some musical treats before and after the performance provided by Ward Rudick, including an audience sing-along, as well as a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus in the lobby after the show.

As the stars are playing fly and seek in the Milky Way, the Littlest Angel is busily polishing the Star of Bethlehem. She stops and rests on a cloud. Her one desire is to float away to the world where Earth children are — and she does just that, teaching the children that one must have Christmas inside to be really happy.

The play was written by Winifred Bell Fletcher and is being directed by Ginger Masoner.
