The following information was obtained from the Santa Clara Police Department:

During the week of July 8 through July 14, the Village of Santa Clara Police Department made two warrant arrests and responded to three domestic calls, one suicide attempt, three medical assists, one harassment complaint, one larceny, and one standby for eviction notice. They also responded to calls in reference to a man chasing kids on bicycles. Officers also assisted a motorcycle run with traffic control, the sheriff's office with a vehicle search, and made four assists to Bayard Police Department on the following calls: a house fire, possible shots fired, and assisted in clearing a residence, and a domestic call.

The following information was obtained from the Grant County Dispatch Authority for Bayard, Santa Clara and Hurley Police Departments:



Intoxicated persons: A caller advised that several men were hanging out and drinking in the 300 block of Central Avenue. When police arrived one man who was drinking in public and was intoxicated was a violation of his probation and the judge was called. Individual was released and Judge Grijalva advised he will issue a bench warrant.


Weapons fired: A caller advised he heard shots fired near Monson Street.


Larceny: A caller reported her cell phone had been stolen in the 700 block of Guinevan Street.


Grass fire: In Yucca Valley Drive

Unwanted subject: A caller advised that a man who has been drinking is on his property and he wants him removed and he is causing problems and is asking people to leave and it's not even his house in the 400 block of Manhattan Park Drive.


Domestic disturbance: A caller advised that a woman who lives on his property was involved in a domestic with her son in the 100 block of Cleveland Street.


Suicide threat: In the 100 block of East Street.

Domestic disturbance: A caller just advised that her boyfriend just hit her on the shoulder and she wants him out of the house in the 300 block of Cleveland Street. She did advise that they both have been drinking.

Domestic violence order violation: A caller advised that her husband keeps harassing her and calling her and just left her house in a silver Dodge pick up in the 100 block of Bellm Street.
